Adding a DC accessory kit enables the CA2500 to be used on the move or powered by the on-board battery. Running time on 12V depends upon battery capacity, state of charge and whether any other 12V appliances are being used.

The CA2500 is designed to fit a standard 400mm square roof vent aperture. If a suitable aperture is not available and an opening must be created there is an additional charge of £100. This charge covers cutting the roof and battening the opening to accept the roof ac unit.
