Adding an optional DC accessory kit enables the Dometic air conditioners to be used on the move or powered by the on-board battery. Running time on 12V depends upon battery capacity, state of charge and whether any other 12V applicances are in use.
The DC Kit 1 is designed to power the CA1000 and includes 16sq mm battery cables.
The DC Kit 2 can power the B1600, B2200 and CA2500 and includes 2 x 25sq mm battery cables.
The DC Kit 3 is a comfort kit suitable for powering all the Dometic air conditioning units and includes 2 x 35sq mm battery cables.
