Air Conditioning Services

For 2008, Cool Auto has simplified the service line-up and only offers two service options. Both procedures are carried out to City & Guilds standards with quality and affordability in mind.

Annual Check: £25
This procedure will establish the condition of your vehicle air conditioning system and includes:

- Static & operating pressure checks
- In-car delivery temperature measurement
- Compressor clutch operation, clutch gap measurement and drive belt visual check
- Check conditioning of condenser, pipes and hoses
- Correct operation of condenser fan

Any problems, leaks or items of concern will be reported to the vehicle owner.  The options for repair or replacement will be discussed as necessary.

Standard Service: £65
This service takes around 90 minutes and includes all items in the Annual Check, plus:

- Recovery and measurement of refrigerant
- System pressure leak test up to 9 bar (approx 140psi)
- Deep vacuum
- Regas with fresh refrigerant
- System test, in-car delivery temperature measurement and fit service label

Waste refrigerant removed from the vehicle will be disposed of in accordance with Environmental Protection Act 1990 at cost, currently £18/kg.
